There is a lot of emotional immaturity there, a result of the childhood trauma.

+1. People love to applaud relationships with age differences like this but they rarely work out. Especially, when there are kids involved. It’s sad that she isn’t focused on her kids.

I think it's a mental break of some kind. Not rational behavior.

When I was 35 I dated a 23 yr old guy. It was a nonsense and entirely about my having a crisis (no kids yet tho')

Feel like y’all are big-time overthinking this. I think she’s just having fun.

I agree she’s immature but it’s a bit of a stretch to assume mental health problems. Also a bit of a stretch to think that she’s seriously expecting to settle down with this guy. Her podcast is all about dating advice and telling dating stories so I think it would be horrible for her brand if she got in a long-term relationship again. I don’t think that’s what she’s looking for.

Hi Kristin. If a peer, i.e. mother at my kid's school, showed up with some random loser 24yo boyfriend we would all be rightfully sketched out and wonder wtf is wrong with her. She needs to sit her butt home in her Nashville mansion and be a full-time mom. Grow the hell up. This is embarrassing.

I mean yea, in middle class suburbia I agree. But nothing about her life is really relatable to the DCUM crowd. She is basically a very successful model married and divorced to a professional athlete. It’s a different world. Do I think she’s making great choices? No. But then again anyone after Jay Cutler is a vast improvement.
