Whats this?

White Day is celebrated annually on March 14, one month after Valentine's Day, when people give reciprocal gifts to those who gave them gifts on Valentine's Day. It began in Japan in 1978; its observance has spread to several other Asian nations and countries worldwide.

I’m shocked that the US card and flower industry hasn’t jumped on this yet.

They aren't going to touch that one with a 10 foot pole.

+1.

It’s so stupid how everything white is related to race in the US. People are so hyper sensitive about everything.

In Japan, it was originally Marshmallow Day

It’s not Christmas! Stop it!

We usually make surf and turf with the kids and get a decadent chocolate dessert. Don’t go out because the prices are crazy and so freaking crowded.

Do you feel the same way about Halloween? Some of us would rather celebrate love than zombies.

Tell that to my MIL who sent DD $200 of stuff last week “for Valentine’s Day.” Anything to justify spending, spending, spending to buy DD’s love.

Flower, card, dinner. That’s enough.

Flower, card and dinner? You fell for the Hallmark sentiment hook, line and sinker. I don't want any of those things.

I didn't

The wife did.

But you’re going to get a BJ and more as your present.

No, he's not. That's only for his birthday.

Wow. I would hate to be him if he only gets it on his bday

It’s a joke. Lighten up, people!

Too many wives don’t think it’s a joke and follow that line of thinking

So what? Then find some dick sucking wife that is more your style.

Any excuse for chocolate.

Every holiday is made up to promote consumerism.

What is Christmas? It’s not even on Jesus’ actual bday and many, if not most, people who celebrate Christmas aren’t even Christian/religious.

Also: the Target I go to has had valentines stuff out since before Christmas

I put a wreath on my door and make a special dinner / dessert and that's it. Not buying all the plastic crap.
