So 5 that I know of.

That seems high. Is this the Bullis lower school turnover that others on this post have commented on?

Bullis has had several so far this year, not just in the lower school. Agree with the poster above that this should not be normalized.

Disgruntled Bullis teacher strikes again. The only people you’re convincing is your little group of co-horts.

I am the PP and I am not a disgruntled Bullis teacher!

Then you’re a former disgruntled teacher. We all know there is a small group of you making the same posts over and over again. Starting threads (like this one) just to air your gripes. As pointed out by others, you all despise the new regime and the high standards being implemented.

High standards and Bullis being used in the same sentence?

They are going to better schools than you did.

Others in our schools - but not our teachers:

Of course, there are pregnancy/birth related leave of absences that occur mid year.

I know of approximately three teachers who left (forever) midyear due to health and two others who had a health event midyear but were able to return the following year.

How do you know this wasn't related to a health reason? That person has no obligation to reveal medical diagnoses to yiu, and nobody else can.

That above post smells of propaganda. After faculty departures these schools always say that teachers left because they were sick (mid-year) or they went to grad school (if at the end of the year) or that they might return after they get over whatever illness they have or whatever other BS. This is to prevent people from knowing the true reasons for faculty departures. But every once in awhile there are teachers who spread the real reasons why they left.

Everyone doesn’t want their personal business shared with the school community. Not all schools do former teachers a solid and let parents and kids know the teacher had a good reason for leaving. Some are vague (or dishonest) and allow parents and students to make up their own stories about what happened. As long as people don’t blame the school these schools couldnt care less what people are saying about a teacher.

Why are you so invested in this? You make almost this exact same post on any Bullis thread. I think it's really strange that an adult would continue to be so emotional about a topic that doesn't involve them. So what if there are unhappy teachers?

Here we go again. You’re so transparent. I was just waiting for your post. Everyone knows you are the same disgruntled teacher who keeps trashing the school.

Exactly! 😂

Regardless of the reasons, five teachers leaving during the school year is A LOT. It creates upset and chaos and a school should do everything to not allow it to happen.

And the posts I read about Bullis do not seem to be from the "same disgruntled teacher." Unless one teacher has been writing about Bullis for the past several years. I doubt it.

+1 Eventually people move on with their lives. Multiple people post about Bullis, SFS, NCS, and Holton-Arms.
