NM and DMV FC to GFR?

How is it not obvious

Has it been clarified that NM and ML will still be at Union? Because if not, how could that not also possibly mean that GFR is just looking to get better staff which improves their club and pipeline towards NVA?

NM doesn't do private trainings or coach futsal. You must be thinking of someone else.

Director at GFR is a much bigger job than DMV. Way more teams and coaches. It’s lateral in title but not in scope.

Why would trainings move to Springfield? None of these coaches have anything to do with Springfield. DMV FC is based in Herdnon/Reston.

There was talk in past about GFR and McLean merger

NVA doesn’t promote GFR or Valor kids into its ecnl teams

Follow the money

Already been called out on page 2. Makes so much more sense now.

NM is the king of the double dip. Total Futbol, DMVFC & MYS at the same time. Don't be surprised if he retains his position at McLean hurting the players in the long run.

Isn’t he also an asset coach for Howard?

Spread pretty thin

When someone is listed as head coach for 10 teams odds are you’re being fleeced

Sounds like that might have meant GD. He's notorious for this.

Nothing. KB was coach for the boys 06, 07 and 08 teams. These kids are at the most crucial time of their long journey trying to get recruited. They have worked so hard and have brought back so many trophies. They deserve the best support from the club in coaching, showcasing, college advising, networking with college scouts, and the club just removed their coach who knows every player personally without a notice.

Should be as simple as going to id camps and sending film to D3 schools, most recruiting on the boys side happens senior year so take a deep breath

This 10000%. 07 boys are 2025/2026 so already in the middle of recruiting. Short of something borderline criminal, if the GFR XD gave a damn about the players, he would have at least kept KB around in some capacity to help as many of these kids with recruiting as possible. And now they’re going to bring in Mikey Welsh and Alex Burke to take over KB’s practices and form a “strategic alliance” with Northern Virginia United Academy?!? What a way to say “the players really matter to us at GFRSC”.
