She doesn’t need to explain herself to anyone.

LOL this thread didn’t age well. Now where’s the poster who was INSISTING that Oprah didn’t use medications because she shouldn’t have needed to do that?

Of course she used the magic weight loss pill and of course she’s had multiple surgeries.

Like Mando says, “This is the way.”

Honestly, she looks just okay given she’s one of the wealthiest women on the planet and has been for decades.

No, but celebs shouldn't claim it's just diet and exercise--it's misleading. Better to say nothing than to lie. Happily Oprah is forthcoming about her struggles and is truthful about what it took to really move the needle on the scale.

Oh please, she's on wegovy or mounjaro.

No, she co-owns Weight Watchers.

I'm not sure why you think both can't be true: she co-owns a diet company AND she uses weight loss medication.

She doesn't appear to have what some people like to call "ozempik face"

Sweetheart, everyone who loses weight rapidly gets that look, it's not specific to this one medication that you spelled incorrectly. You a dumb-dumb.

She looks gorgeous.

I don't think she looks good at all. Ozempic face. And she's in black top to bottom, and partially twisted to look "long" in the photo.

Ozempic and her billions of dollars. JFC-- you really think this is a mystery?

She was interviewed about her weight loss and the reporter asked if it was The baby Weight Watchers. She gave a vague answer which solidified my belief that she used Ozempic.

Of course she did. And, she shouldn't be ashamed.

BUT_ who are all of these m-effin gullible people that think all the celebs just got together and decided 2023 was FINALLY going to be the year that they got really into diet and fitness. Yeah--I'm looking at you Kyle Richards, Chris Pratt, Post Malone, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, etc., etc., etc., Elon and Chelsea and Sharon at least admitted it.

But FFS, come on. Wake up people!

I am someone who was on Ozempic to lose weight and I wish celebrities would not lie about this. We need to destigmatize the use of these medications and remove all shame for taking them.

Agree. I have told people I'm on Ozempic when someone comments on my weight loss. It was a health choice as much as a vanity choice, but it does feel good to be a normal weight!

And totally agree that WW and Ozempic go together - as the company itself has decided since they have been prescribing it for almost a year. Ozempic, and particularly post Ozempic if you choose to stop, requires maintaining good eating habits.

Wouldn’t she have access to top dermatologists/plastic surgeons to correct any skin issues?

Yes. She would. However I cannot imagine with all she has invested in WW (not just money but she believes in it) that she'd need Ozempc.

Also my understanding is that the weight comes back on as soon as one stops taking it - which is my DC and I prefer diet and exercise …
