I have sung four songs from the Messiah and heard the entire oratorio. I love the whole thing, but the piece that gives me the goosebumps is the Hallelujah Chorus. There is something so uplifting about that piece that makes it a standout and this one definitely belongs here.

One of my favorite more recent renditions is the Christmas Flash Mob in a food court of a mall. This was one of the versions that definitely game me the goosebumps feeling.

DP. Another Gen Xer and definitely agree. Definitely makes the feelings quiver. But it's the song. I listen to the Kenny Loggins version of the song and it does that too. So, not just Kermit in the pond.
