Do you take HRT? Did they improve your life in any way?

I wish I would have found her years ago (I'm 52 and just went on HRT about six weeks ago). But she just took a leave of absence to have surgery. I think she is resuming seeing patients in the spring.

A big no thanks to Dr Hersh! https://wng.org/articles/camilla-hersh-the-happiness-specialist-1617303172

Gross

What is gross about her opinion? FWIW, I disagree with her, but that's my opinion. We are free to think for ourselves. Women who are going through menopause symptoms don't need the service she refuses to provide.

Yes, and after tweaking over six months it’s been an absolute f-ing miracle. I was in perimenopause with insane 15-day periods where I couldn’t leave the house for two days because I bled through everything and I felt truly crazy. I was so, so angry. I did Midi health which was in-network with my insurance and they do virtual visits. I was hoping to lose some weight on HRT but no luck so far. But I’m happy again.

I lost weight and got back to my pre-peri weight. But it wasn't until months and months of decent sleep. I really think that was holding me back. Lack of sleep really messes with you.
