The tap on Amy Klobuchar in 2020 is that she would sometimes be tough on her staff and once ate a salad with a comb. And then we got Harris as VP. Be careful what you wish for.

Spanberger has sparred with the far left. I do not know if this will help or hurt as the far left in VA does not have a lot of power.

For some people, a person is by definition "unlikeable" if they are a woman who holds elective office.

I lived in her district and met her when she was campaigning door to door. Very brief exchange obviously but I found her impressive then and still do.

There are people who will never vote for her based on her sex but hopefully enough other people with brains can see beyond that.

The good news in VA is the Democrats put up bad candidates for Governor, the bad news is that unfortunately Republicans do the same at the state representative and state senate level.
