Imagine China decides to take Taiwan, with US warships in the way and involved.... and your child is in China.

I tend to be an adventurous person and adventurous traveler...but given the ever increasing political tensions with China (over, SO MANY things) and the instability of two wars that involve Russia and the middle east - with potential to explode and bring in Iraq and China....I'd say this isn't a good time to go to China...let alone send a minor (or young adult) there.
