| People on here saying its a god idea probably also still use Chi straighteners and only silver jewelry. |
| Lindsay and Ashley both need to be on at least a 50 year hiatus. The two names are interchangeable to me and the market is saturated with them. |
| No |
Both of these names would be really handsome on a man and are totally boring on a woman. I'll add Kelly and Tracy to that list. |
Agree. I knew girls named Susan and Linda in high school in the early 00s and their names definitely stuck out as “mom names”. Hazel was my great-grandmother’s name, and it’s very popular now. Maybe there will be a resurgence soon of Nancys and Barbaras! But I think we need to wait several decades on the Lindsays, Jessicas, Jennifers, Ashleys, etc. |
God I hope not,! It is so overused. |
| People here are ridiculous. It's a nice name, I prefer the A, and it will be nice to have a child with a unique name instead of another Olivia, Sidney, Isabelle, Madison, Addison, or Taylor. |
Only if you're 35. There are no children with those names. Millennial mamas are insane. |
| No. Lindsay |
I have a male cousin named Tracy. He’s hated it his whole life. |
| Not while Lindsay Graham is still active in politics. |
DP. I know an eight year old named Ashley. |
|
I'm a Lindsay (f) born in the 60s. My niece also, born in the late 90s.
I'm a teacher and there has always been a Lindsay or two in the school. |
| Teacher here again. I have been in my present school for 20+ years and the most popular girl names in the school every single year are Ashley and Allison; more than 30 each. |
| It's fine as long as you don't spell it "Lynsy." Or "Lynnesee." |
