A lot of people commenting don't even come from countries where you would have a "kid only" party.
I'm almost 50, and I don't remember a kid only elementary school party where we had food other than cake and ice cream. Parents dropped off and didn't stay, so there was no need to feed them. Now pizza seems to be the default in this area (along with some fruit maybe). |
Behold, the “pick me” American who posts in literally every single one of these threads. |
What you are writing would make sense if there were any countries that only served one dish. Many American kids eat American foods at most meals, and one of those foods is pizza which many families eat at home once in a while as well as at parties. Many Indian kids eat a variety of Indian foods at home, and then eat Indian foods at parties, which may overlap with what they at at home, and also include foods that are more associated with special occasions. |
Fascinating. Who is cooking all this Indian food? Live in extended family or domestic servants? |
OK but other posters have said we are Jamaican food and eat Jamaican food at our parties and such. Now we're going to pretend that this is actually a multinational feast at all these not for kid, kids just happen to be there, parties. |
Is this food served at Sky Zone equivalent in India? Or is it a very different kind of party? |
NP. The SkyZone in Hyderabad offers pizza, nuggets, fries, and soda 👍 |
The horror. |
| We lived in Italy for several years, and pizza is the default kid party food. Sometimes with Nutella sandwiches and various fruit crostata. And always Prosecco for parents!! |
Wouldn’t have minded some Prosecco the last time I had to be at Skyzone |
