You sounds so accepting!!!

I vigorously reject traitors and misogynists.

You're a parrot with the brain of a rock.
Its fun watching you as victims of street crime that you bring on yourself with your naive and misguided stupidity.
Very satisfying!

This is rich, coming from the person posting the same thing over and over and over again.

You haven't posted a rebuttal to any of the people responding to your posts. You just keep proving that Republicans have nothing to offer besides trolling and owning the libs.

I have never said this before, but I genuinely think this is a Russian troll. This is not a native speaker and the insult sounds like a five year old.

Or it's a 5 year old who stole mom's iPad.

I’m not a republican anymore, but people like you are why I can’t be a democrat either.

Which part is inaccurate?

What happened to dems being the party of tolerance? I thought that was the plan?

Notice how that's the response. No platform other than trolling

That's all they can do. Troll. Even their leading candidate for 2024 loves trolling.

I don't speak for all Ds, but personally I'm extremely intolerant of traitors and misogynists.

Guess some people are ok with those?

So picking and choosing what your tolerant for is ok? Then that should go both ways yet it doesn't. Strange how that works. Love and acceptance one way. That doesn't sound too fair now does it?

Yes, it's OK to not tolerate traitors and misogynists. In fact, it's the right thing to do.

I think a better platform would be for starters;

1) secure our border to stop illegal immigration A):exploiting our social services, schools, etc. paid by tax paying citizens, b) stop drug smuggling especially fentanyl , and c):stop huge increases in human smuggling/ child exploitation.
2) support prosecutors who will actually prosecute criminals. Stop making "equity" excuses for criminals that victimize all, especially &:disproportionately black citizens.
3) Return to more sensible energy policies that make our economy work and grow.
4) Return to more moderate national candidates/ elections where Trump or Biden are not candidates. Everyone be honest and admit both candidates are corrupt and terrible. No Hillary or Desantis either.
5) reasonable gun control with better background checks and wait periods.
6) Legal abortion with restrictions on late term abortions except for rape, children (rape), and rare partial birth abortions.
7) No pandering programs like student loan forgiveness, BUT allow refinancing of those loans.

That's for starters. Maybe not possible for either DNC or RNC to compromise.
If your a hack of either side, don't bother with a response, but look at the national polls.
I'm nowhere near alone with my views.

#5 is good. I support #7.

The rest are either baseless or a 'no go'.

Yep. There are a few cranks in Arlington who get whipped up by culture war claptrap - a few skulk around DCUM and ARLnow - but by and large, a highly educated populace is kryptonite for Republican electoral success.

I’m an Arlington liberal but find this viewpoint extremely elitist. Highly educated or extremely privileged? I think they usually go hand in hand and I’d rather go back to being the party of the working class. I think the Democratic Party does more for working people which is why I usually vote blue. However, the elitist TPs are a huge turnoff and the party is out of touch with most Americans (see school closures and other vax mandates). And, yes, my whole family is vaccinated but I was so turned off by the vilifying by the left.

Is it elitist to point out a very strong correlation between political affiliation and education?

This line always cracks me up. It's repeated ad nauseum and taken as dogma at this point, but let's take a step back. Yes, there are terminally online leftist scolds who seem to relish in taking outlandish positions on things (although the same can be said of the right, and they're perhaps much worse!).

Is it the Democratic Party that is out of touch with most Americans?

Or is it the party that agitates for tax cuts for the rich, dismantling incredibly popular government programs (ACA, Medicaid, SS, etc), and rolling back gay rights (that an overwhelming majority approve of) that is out of touch with most Americans?

Hmm. That's a tough one.

I'm an Arlington Republican, but mostly in the closet about my views except for close friends since the Democrats I know are pretty smug and self-righteous. The fellow conservatives I know are mostly religious, and I maybe attend church 5 times a year - so not close with too many of them. I'm pro-choice, and would vote for a 3rd party before I vote for Trump or Biden, but I'd vote Trump just because there may be some sanity in the policies and I don't know who is running the show in the Administration - we all know it ain't Biden.

What really shocks me these days is the Liberal Media is absolutely pushing an agenda, lying to the masses and not covering issues that makes Ds look bad. Try listening to Commentary Magazine Podcast or Breaking Points if you want some common sense policy discussions where you are not being told what to think - learn to think for yourself. The media lobs out softball questions to all Democrats, no matter how awful their policies are in the long run. At least ask the tough questions of both parties. Both parties are awful with spending, but I think Republicans have historically tried to address it without taxing and platitudes about a "fair share" that will never be defined.

You tell others to “learn to think for yourself” right after you parrot the capitalized “Liberal Media.” Lol.

So let everyone else not tolerate things they don't approve of too. You're not getting it it goes BOTH ways. freedom of speech both ways too. You don't have to like it.

What goes both ways, exactly? Being intolerant, and being intolerant of intolerance?
