Do you actually disconnect when on vacation?

At my current job, we do OOO plans and folks really step up to cover. It’s great.


CEOs and other leaders should definitely model that behavior and encourage it in their employees. Even if you love your job and have an important role, you need to disconnect now and then.

Nope. My husband can't check his work email if he's in a foreign country because he's not allowed to connect his work laptop to unsecured wifi, doesn't get international service on his work phone, and can't check email on other devices. I am always so jealous.
