People grow apart when their work schedules keep them apart. Not every Hollywood divorce is because of a scandal. Most are very boring cases of two people just not being that into each other any more.

She does not strike me as someone who is going to be real and dig her heels in and work on trying to improve, or work through or accept the difficulties and frustrations of long term marriage and the give and take of a real partnership. He seems real, he works his recovery and has for years. They always seemed obviously mismatched to me. Not shocked that after the lust faded there was little depth there.

I'm really sad about this. I enjoyed seeing them together. I've seen all the interviews with Joe where he shares how they met and their courtship. He has also mentioned it's a case of opposites attract. I know he has expressed wanting children, but he should have known going in that Sofia wouldn't be able to give him that. I know it's hard for Hollywood couples to stay together, I was hoping this would be an exception.

She’s not too old for him but she already has a kid and is more accomplished than him. He’s just too old in general and behind in all milestones-having a kid, professionally, etc. She had her fun and is probably dumping him.
