+1. She has one expression. I can’t stand her! She did look better when she pulled her hair back. |
She looks fine.
The problem with Kaitlin and Jim Acosta is that they are not articulate or smart. They are both terrible. Abbey Phillips is so much more intelligent! Anderson Cooper is always well prepared and asks effective follow up questions. |
Very masculine jawline |

You are not watching. Abbey is not good as an anchor. She's horrible at it and I suspect she knows it. They're pairing her up lately but she is not going to last in that slot. Kaitlan has stepped it up and I think she's doing a good job. |
I like Erin Burnett. |
I liked Kaitlin Collins as a WH correspondent but really don’t like her as an anchor. I thought she was okay at first but I do not think she’s good at interviews. She always seems to think she has these aggressive gotcha questions but she doesn’t nail it. She interviewed JD Vance a few days ago — he is a truly terrible human but she made him look articulate and eespectful. She kept cutting him off with these questions that didn’t prove her point (and query whether a journalist should be trying so hard to make a specific point).
I like Abby P but I’m worried she was promoted too high too fast—she needs to build her legs a little more. Anderson is by far their best and he came up the old fashioned way (with money and connections — no just kidding, by doing crap on-location assignments and developing stories by talking to real people like he did with hurricane katrina—although I’m sure the money and connections didn’t hurt). |
I like Erin too, she seems like a tired cranky middle-aged Mom, which I like about her! |
I used to wake up and watch TV when I had insomnia and I would watch a news show that was on at about 2:00 am. There were two anchors and one of them was Anderson Cooper. I remember thinking he was so good and would be a star. That was about 30 years ago. I don’t remember the station, if it was CNN. He is a good anchor and a good interviewer. |
She’s a heck of a basketball player! |
I don’t watch her as an anchor but she was a terrific WH correspondent; we watched her a lot during the pandemic. She might not be as naturally suited to an anchor position, but that does not make her a terrible journalist. |
She did well with the trial. |
She's been great all during the trial both with updates on what goes on in the courtroom as well as her show. She is smart, concise, informed and very good at what she's doing. |
Kaitlin did very well during the trials. |
She was reporting on an incident that happened at the time. A republican congressional staffer was fired for calling the Obama girls sluts for wearing too short of skirts. That was not Kaitlin's opinion. |
