Can someone explain why Theresa Giudice is so beloved?

I work at a law firm and I wonder what they have Gia doing - Receptionist? Mail room? I mean, we wouldn't allow someone who hasn't even started law school to do any legal work. That's what our summer associates are for. We have one guy who finished college and is studying for LSATS - he does reception/conference room setup.

+1. She isn’t going to be doing anything meaningful at a law firm (probably a family friend’s firm) and Rutgers doesn’t make me think she’s smart.

I grew up in NJ and Rutgers is pretty competitive to get into. I went to an Ivy and if I hadn’t gotten in there I probably would’ve seriously considered Rutgers.

I don't know who is a fan. Like Ramona and Vickie, her hate and ignorance (and appearance) are painful to watch.

She has a neanderthal hairline (It is really quite shocking- she has been upping her hairline for years so it is a lot better than where it started) and an IQ to match. The last thing I need to think about is her and ANY of her sweat-monster husbands getting it on, so she needs to stop it.

That's a weird thing to like about her. She absolutely engages in horrible body shaming. Her IQ is also low, I don't think that's in question. If you're going to like anything about her, it's her hustle. She WORKS. I respect that.

I wrote about this years ago on this forum but I use to work in publishing and was very involved in one of her book tours. It was a cookbook and directly marketed to HW fans. When I say she is a work horse, I mean it. I have worked with much more talented authors and much more famous people but no one as hard working. She starts her day at 4 am, works out, gets her kids off to school, and WORKS. And because she is aware she isn’t smart she will literally just out work you. I feel bad because when she gets these loser husbands and boyfriends I’m sure she just does whatever they say. That can work out wonderfully when you are working for people who care about you or at least the same goal (like say in publishing we all wanted to make money on this book) but it can work against you when you work under these scam artist she seems to be attracted to!
