Is MIT RD decision coming out today?

Rejected. 1580. 4.0 Unweighted GPA. Lots of APs in science/math/stem. Good extracurriculars. Female engineering.

Two things to remember - the competition is global.

Third, please list stats AND major - some major had tons of applicants.

Rejected. 1580 U/w 4.0 female engineering. Impressive EC but no amazing awards (state level). Kind of revealed because I think she would have gone if accepted against my guidance but I’m not sure it’s the healthiest choice for her.

Your children, PPs, are truly amazing and I hope they are so so proud of their accomplishments. Wow! Screw MIT if they got rejected. I read somewhere that you should try to be the sort of student who MIGHT get into a place like MIT. Doesn’t matter if you actually win that lottery. So all of you are amazing by this metric.
