Too bad you were too lazy to explore other job options.

There are very few flexible jobs that a college student can get that also makes enough to live and pay for school. I worked my tail off supporting myself and paying for college and I’m very proud of that. I just think this incredibly privileged thread is hilarious. The restaurant people are too rough for OPs delicate daughter, who doesn’t even need to work. If she really truly doesn’t need money she should do other activities that will set herself up for getting a job after graduation.

Restaurant jobs don’t even pay the most compared to hourly jobs when you realize that on a slow night you make crap.

Nursing homes have good opportunities- front desk, kitchen, servers.

Wanting someone to respect you doesn't make you delicate.

Restaurant workers rarely get a real break—no break room.

They take smoke breaks, sometimes indoors, every 20 min instead.

Have her part time nanny for a professor family. Good ones in HCOL are getting $30/hour.

Is she a server or a counter worker? If she can handle it she should be a server. She can choose not interact with others. I am sure they aren’t cussing and smoking on the floor.

Pretty much everywhere you go there is a now hiring sign.
If she gets a little experience under her, she can make a ton of money as a server at a good spot.

Counter worker. I don't see her as a server. She's very petite. She couldn't handle the heavy trays. Even though she works at a counter she's not dealing with customers much because they order on the kiosk computers.

Counter work is better for her if you don't drink alcohol. That goes against her religion as you mentioned being muslim.
