How do you plan on observing Lent this year?

Pray the rosary every day (15 mins in the morning before work) and give up red meat.

Hope you’ll also try hard to practice Christian values of humility and care for the poor.

Also, a group made a Super Bowl ad about this, with a pro-lifer washing the feet of a woman who just had an abortion. (For non-Christians, Jesus washed others’ feet.) I hear the MaGAs hated it.

What was missing in the commercial was what Jesus said after her forgave people their sins: GO AND SIN NO MORE. He didn't condone the sin itself.

Jesus never talked about abortion or to women who had had one.

I'm using the Hallow app to help me stick to prayer/contemplation every day.

One year, I donated 40 things to a food pantry.

I don't fast from food (ED history) and Mark Wahlberg addressed that in today's Hallow message.

Thanks! I love and will try this great idea!

What was present was not judging, love and grave and forgiveness!!

Leave it for God to judge.

Giving up sweets doesn’t count for lent. Perhaps, spending time with the Blessed Sacrament once a week, a good confession, Stations of the cross, daily prayers and reflection. Walking while meditating in the gospel is a beautiful way of prepearing yourself for Easter.

You should do that all the time. I hope you keep it up after Lent and don't consider it only as a Sacrifice

Sundays only during Lent? I found out as a kids that Sunday's don't count, so you can do all the bad stuff on Sundays. For me, it was eating Ice Cream.

I don't observe Lent any more.

But if they're not catholic, it's not a sin.
