I'm sure you can now. But, rural India. 1992. Backpacking. I'm not the PP with the experience but I have been to rural India in the 90's and I could foresee problems with this purchase. |
What is it about the NY to DC Amtrak? Years ago I woke up in the early morning in our NYC hotel room not feeling the best, but eventually fell back to sleep. DH and I wake up later and I explain that I am clearly under the weather. Our kids are 2 and 3 and starting to clamor to get their day on. He takes them out with his dad, tells me he will meet me at the station, and his mom comes to help me pack. While I am clearly struggling, she loads me into a cab, gets in herself, and after six blocks asks the cabby to let her out so she can go back to her friends. I drag all our luggage into Penn Station - how I did this, I can no longer remember. I make it down the escalator and start to cross the huge floor. I realize I can no longer fight the nausea and ask an Amtrak worker for the closest bathroom. He gestures broadly and tells me, "Lady, they are all over here." I promptly drop the luggage handles and run ten feet over to a garbage can to puke. Felt satisfying after the guy's brusqueness, even if I would have probably not made it to a bathroom. |
| Traveling internationally with my kids for the first time over spring break and now I'm terrified! |

Was traveling alone in Jaipur when my auto was hit by a car and I was thrown out. It hurt a lot but nothing serious. I did feel really bad for myself.
Was visiting a friend in London and we went to a music festival in the countryside. We got separated, looked all over but couldn't find her. Made my way back to her apartment in London but couldn't get in because she wasn't there. Ended up riding around on a double decker bus all night and into the morning because I didn't know where else to go. Turns out she got her parents to pick her up and take her back to their home. |
Seriously? You travel very narrow swaths of the developing world and in very recent times. Monistat only became available OTC in the US in 1991. |
