Agree

67 is when many retire, life is not over.

It’s supposed to be the golden years.

Thanks to advances in medicine and education we have reached that point where 67 is no longer considered old! That is young! I consider that to be the point in time where I retire, travel and spend time with my grandchildren should I be so lucky to be blessed in that way.

67 is not old....

With dementia, early onset really is horrific. My MIL had it. If you have dementia you don't get to travel and spend time with grandkids like you think.

I kinda feel bad for her and wonder if she’ll remarry.

You mean now, or after he's died?

After she’s widowed. She’s really pretty.

Sorry, but it is old. Male life expectancy is 73.

Life expectancy is an average. Your average life expectancy at birth is different from your individual life expectancy when you are older. The older you are the longer your life expectancy is; if you’re alive at 67 your much more likely to still be alive past 73.

Likely since she'll still be young, and she may need to. Doesn't work and I don't think any of his three adult kids are gainfully employed either. There's only so far the money will go, especially since 24/7 memory care is exorbitant.

I understand that he undertook that himself before his condition progressed as he wanted to leave as much money as possible for his children. He has a young family I think.

I don't believe that. Sounds like he couldn't even consent to work or to what was being done to him. His net worth is in the hundreds of millions. How much more money does his (second) wife and their children need? Seemed pretty clear that he had some type of dementia back when this all came out.

His medical care will cost millions. He will need to be able to leave something to them.

My friends husband had this. Got it at 40 died at 50.

Kids were middle school.

It’s really devastating to famines because it mostly hits when children are young.

He hasn't drawn huge paychecks in years, was known as a big spender who loved living large and blew significant sums on his Hard Rock investment and that Utah town. I wonder how much money he actually has, doubt it's anywhere near some of the sums thrown around in the press.

Life expectancy of a 67 year old man is 83.

Less than 1% of me have dementia in their 60s.

This is definitely a life limiting illness

This is a classy conversation we have going here.

Right, but memory issues aren’t that unusual in late 60s. It’s sad but he lived a good life before the dementia.

Memory issues in one's 60s or even early 70s is very premature and not usual.

From https://readementia.com/average-age-for-alzheimers-disease/

Late-onset AD normally affects people who are 60 years and above when Alzheimer’s symptoms become more apparent.

National Institute on Aging reports that the number of individuals who have AD doubles after 5 years for persons who are above 65 years.

His wife has asked the paparazzi to not yell at him when in public so as not to confuse him. And to give him space

Why is he out in public? If he gets that confused they should keep him away from the public. I am sure they have huge properties that can keep him active and away from the public eye. He is probably at the point where he is not that aware of what is happening.

She is now playing the caring and concerned wife. The one who had him make 21 cheap cheap cheap films in a span of 2 years to make a few million before he could no longer be on set.
