Why is it okay for bigots to mock Christianity, Catholicism, and/or Evangelicalism?

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

The world attacking Christianity is the proof it’s true.

No, it’s only proof we don’t like you because you are annoying because you say stuff as you’ve wave your crosses around and burn copies of Harry Potter.

Yes, all Christians burn copies of Harry Potter.

Bigot

Yeah we just mock the ones that do. No one is mocking, like, Episcopalians or UCC types who go to church on Sundays, have some cookies, do a food drive and leave their neighbors in peace. But the fundie Bible thumpers all up in everyone else’s business and in our schools and so forth can lump it.

But there’s an 8-10 page thread full of women ruthlessly cyberbullying her, much of it centered on her religious beliefs and hearsay about some Christian church she allegedly attends. I am confident you’d rightfully immediately ban any bigoted cyberbullies using Jewish, synagogue, temple, Islam, Muslim, or mosque in the same contexts.

I don't know who that is and I doubt I'll read that thread, but in my experience nobody hollers Bigotry faster and louder than Christians who experience even the mildest of mild criticism.

Is someone commenting "there is no evidence to support your belief" mocking?

Is comparing your belief in your god to other's belief in other gods mocking?

Is comparing belief in your god to belief in Leprechauns mocking?

Is referring to the god you believe in as "the invisible sky pixie" mocking?

Is referring to a god you don't believe in as "the invisible sky pixie" mocking?

Asking because I want to know where you draw the line.

Funny how none of the whiners answered any of these questions.

I don’t mock Judaism because they’ve never tried to convert me or interfere with my rights. Muslims in America leave me alone. Buddhists leave me alone. Only Bible thumping fundies yammer at me about Jesus and tell me I need to be saved and come to DC to try to make laws that annoy me and try to infiltrate our school boards and whine about the pledge of allegiance etc etc etc. So yeah, they get mocked.

If you don’t want to be mocked, stop being so annoying.

+1.

Please God, save me from your followers.

You're pushing a belief here. It's not unique to some Christians. Mocking a religion is just very base

Quite rich from someone burning the very author of Harry Potter.

No condemnation of Rachel saraswati for using a Hindu goddess name? What a POS trailer trash. It is insulting to my Gods and Goddesses.

Why do you think that I care if others insult your beliefs?
