Best method to “deep clean” hardwood floors?

The steam mop is totally unnecessary and can damage your floor. Just use a regular mop.


+1. Would you pour boiling water on your hardwood floor? If not, I wouldn’t use a steam mop either. The temperature of a steam mop is higher than the boiling point of water. You are risking damaging the finish and warping the wood.
