I like the exterior to be honest. The interior is just too much and the worst thing about it is that you know the cringe-inducing Langley types who'd buy a house like that would feel right at home amidst the over-the-top grandeur. |
It’s kind of like Mclean folded in on itself and became like a weird mirror maze world. |
$11 million cash - probably foreign money. I wouldn’t be surprised if it just sits empty. |
The interior is more like an aristocat style. Meow |
what? |
Like it just got too concentrated, like Mclean went through a prism and out popped that face fireplace and all the beams. |
See, I was just going to say it was the "more cowbell" of Langley Forest. Like the guy really needed that extra million in stock options just so they could load up on the beams. |
Ostentatious, tacky, and bad for the environment. |
Personally I dislike when they build houses to look old and historic but are basically using all new materials. Either import the good stuff Getty/Hearst style from Europe or buy a historic home. The house feels inauthentic if that can even be a thing. |

Really? Why, exactly? Seems like a bland, beige Shinings takeoff to me. |
I like the wallpaper |
It's ugly AF. |
The beams really make the space. |
