This is the posters vacation, not the nanny's. The nanny will be working.

Op is traveling for work.

It’s the children’s vacation… the nanny will be caring for them.

It’s not a vacation for anyone. Op should keep same work hours and paid travel time and bonus for being away from home and any extra hours over 40.
