Sen. Elizabeth Warren: “people tell me all the time they’d vote for me if I had a p*nis”

You'd be surprised at what people say and do.

She had probably been told by donors and other people inside the party that she not an electable woman, which is different than an electable man. If she were a man she would have won the nomination—no question in my mind.

If she were a man, she would just be another Bernie Sanders...and he hasn't won any nominations.

Mmm no. I really think she is nothing like Bernie Sanders. I would never have voted to nominate him. I voted for her though.

The way people perceive female politicians is endlessly fascinating to study.

Her style is very different from Bernie, but her positions are pretty close to his.

File this one under complete hysteria and things that have probably never happened. This sounds like some kind of derangement syndrome based on delusions of persecution and a perception that the world is out to get you. It's like all the stories you hear of college students who've gone completely mad over identity and race issues, so when they find they aren't being persecuted on campus, they feel compelled to make up fake stories and narratives about persecution on campus.

When you're constantly told you're a victim in life yet reality does not jive with that persecution narrative, it's shocking how many people will come up with fake or really weak stories and accusations to justify their permanent victimhood status.

Honestly, YOU sound deranged. Where are you hearing/reading all these stories? Because I read and listen to a lot of news every day from varied sourced and I haven't heard about "all the stories you hear of college students who've gone completely made over identity and race issues...." Maybe you should try getting your "news" from something other than RWNJ channels.

Easy:

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/24/us/smith-college-race.html

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2019/06/30/oberlin-college-gibsons-bakery-racism-mccarthy-column/1597386001/

A lot of persecution complexes and syndromes running rampant these days. When you feel like you are entitled to permanent victimhood status yet find you aren't the victim, fragile minds cannot handle the fact that they aren't really victims, so they create fake narratives to fit the bill. Anyone with common sense doesn't believe Warren.

Many people think Democrats are wild leftists because many of the biggest and loudest activist groups are leftists. But the actual coalition of voters is pretty moderate, so you get nominees like Biden, Clinton and Obama instead of ones like Bernie, Kucinich, and Warren.

She is not really further to the left than Biden. Again, fascinating that you think so!

And I find it curious as to who is coming up to her all the time and saying this. Republican constituents likely don’t speak to her - why would they? And I can’t see her constantly finding herself in social circles where she’d even be exposed to republicans, so it’s fair to surmise that she spends most of her time around fellow democrats.

If that’s the case, then who are all these democrats who’ve said they wouldn’t vote for her because she’s a woman? That seems like kind of a big deal for that mentality to be so pervasive among dems.

Either she’s lying, or dems have a serious problem with sexism in their rank and file voters.

Which is it?

No, that’s actually not fair to assume. Many Democratic senators and representatives make it a point to make themselves especially available to Republican and Republican-leaning voters as they take their job very seriously.

Yeah, NO

When was the last time David Trone or John What’s-his-name or whatever other democrat currently occupies the 6th(?) District in MD - the gerrymandered one that has all of bright red western MD plus a tiny little sliver reaching down into MoCo to add sufficient blue votes to keep it Dem majority - when was the last time anyone representing that district ever spent more than a token amount of time in Hagerstown, Finzel, Frostburg, Williamsport or Cumberland?

Dems don’t want to be around those people.

I live in a small town west of Frederick and David Trone was in our annual fall parade a few weeks ago. And as someone said, the 6th district was redrawn so he needs to come to the areas west of MoCo to get the votes.

Yes, she was much further left.
As just a few examples, Warren campaigned on: free college (at least under certain income limits), eliminating student debt, banning fracking, Medicare for All, federal government manufacturing prescription drugs, eliminating any criminal penalties for illegal immigration, huge cuts to defense spending, eliminating the distinction between capital gains and ordinary income, and creating a wealth tax. Biden either didn't support these proposals, or had very scaled back versions of them. For example, he wanted two years of free community college instead of free 4-year college, and wanted to raise the capital gains rate only for those making over $1M.

And then everyone stood up and clapped...

She is lying cause she would just get a penis.

Or she’d at least claim to have one.

Or at least 1/1024th of one.

In upper NW and Bethesda that's a center-left agenda. Yup. Mainstream!

If she had a penis, it would detach itself from her while she slept and escape out a window. No penis wants to live attached to Elizabeth Warren.
