It would be great if there was a shot that prevented people from getting COVID. I can only assume you’ve been in a coma for a year if you do not realize this does not exist.

So fortunate though that the vaccines protect against the most serious outcomes!

What are the serious outcomes associated with the current strain in the under 40 crowd?

Narrator: It’s a cold.

Preeclampsia and stillbirth/pregnancy loss in pregnant people.

Zero studies on this. It was a fun talking point for awhile but no. As with many (most?) things COVID, turned out to be misinformation.

For all those saying “Covid is risky” - duh. But where’s the proof that an additional booster in a healthy pregnant woman provides substantial benefit when you were previously vaxed and boosted? What is the actual statistical analysis that supports doing this?

I mean there wasn’t any testing on pregnant women, fetuses or babies. We don’t yet know the LT effects of either covid or the vaccine.

All I know is my doctor pushed the booster while pregnant but couldn’t answer basic questions. I think it’s becoming a way more obvious to a lot of us that the entire vaccine narrative was misleading. Once you figure out you were lied to you start to wonder about what else. Looking back it should have been more obvious to me given how aggressive and defensive everyone was about it. Now I can’t believe we caused people to lose their jobs for a vaccine that doesn’t prevent transmission and will require boosters for years to come.

I think that’s fair. I’m very pro vaccine but you’re right that the benefit of an additional booster is speculative. Personally I think going with your gut is fine.

I’m choosing to get the booster and I vaccinated both my children who are under 5; but I have zero problem with people making the opposite choice for both of those things.

Hahaha absolutely not getting this while pregnant. It’s not safe for infants under 6 months. What could possibly make you think it’s safe, effective, or even tested properly for your fetus.

Try to use an ounce of critical thinking. Please. Your child hopes you will do better.

Critical thinking went out of style. It’s truly a mystery how many people still know how to get out of bed in the morning without Fauci telling them what to do and when to do it.

But trust the science!

This doesn’t make a ton of sense. Flu shot is highly recommended in pregnancy but not given to newborns 🙄
