Yep, been doing this for years (on an occasional basis - maybe once every few weeks if I have something they might want a bite of) - and I’m still alove to tell the tale. 😂

A homeless person who may not have showered or brushed their teeth for a few days is most likely still cleaner and more hygienic than your dog and I wouldn't share my fork with them.

My Granny always had her dog prerinse the dinner plates before they went in the dishwasher. Very efficient water-efficient and enjoyable for all. Weird that you guys think handwashing might make things cleaner that a commercial dishwasher.
