Can he though?

He just fell horribly from a stand still as he tried to ride a bike.

He fell horribly? Dramatic much?

He couldn’t get up by himself after being fully on the ground, yes, that’s a bad fall for an elderly person.

In the past 10 years, I have wrecked my bike and fractured a rib, then later wrecked my bike and fractured a collarbone. Only difference was i'm only 55, snd neither wreck was caught on film.

This is s nothing burger when placed in context of his great performance as president in very challenging times.

Were you stopped, with one foot on the ground, when you fractured your rib and collarbone? I am pretty sure anyone who rides a bike has wrecked it or fallen off it in some manner.

The point is he’s elderly, shouldn’t be falling publicly (especially after falling up the stairs of Air Force 1) and fell after he had already come to a complete stop. A Secret Service agent has to pull Biden off the ground.

Show us a picture of any other president in this position on the ground? It’s concerning for Biden’s health and public image.

As a bike nerd, I don't know why they put him on a bike like that, a rigid hybrid with narrow handle bars and toe clips. They should have put him on a mountain bike with a slacker head tube angle, wider bars and large platform pedals. Those hybrids have twitchy steering for urban riding and takes getting use to.

I guess all you bike lovers are going to stop riding when you hit 65 or 70. Just sit around and get fat. Oh wait, you stopped riding at 30. Biden is fine. I admire that he did not just slink away and stop living because he turned a certain age. If you ride bikes, you will eventually fall. It happens at every age. If you are not an advent bike rider who have no clue.

DP. I actually sprained my ankle getting off a spin bike. Yes, it was quite embarrassing as I attempted to exit the bike with my foot still in the straps. I was in my thirties and was thinking of the the things I had to do in the day. The instructor helped me up and I limped my embarrassed behind out the gym. Later that day I realized that the injury was more serious than originally thought had to go to the doc. I ended up in a boot for six-weeks. Yep, I don't know how many people who have sprained an ankle from riding a stationery (spin) bike, but I did. Even as I type this, I shake my head as it is just my life. Shit happens.

Pulitzer for the photo, maybe.

OK, but there are other ways to avoid getting “fat.”

And yet he did get up and is fine! It’s a dramatic picture.

It's a dramatic picture that captured a dramatic fall.

George W Bush, who was considerably younger than Biden, got into at least 2 bike accidents while President, fell off a Segway, and almost choked to death while sitting on the couch eating a pretzel. I'd say Biden is doing OK.

You do know that a younger person can recover more easily from injuries?
