About to cancel Netflix - what should I watch before I do???

Just found a hidden gem on Netflix that had flown under the radar for me at least - others might've seen it already since it was apparently Alan Rickman's last film before his death.

It's Eye in the Sky from 2015. A war thriller. Watched it tonight and we absolutely loved it.

A PP said it best - when Netflix was the only option, it was great. But I'm now paying for AppleTV and Disney+ (and get Amazon since I'm a Prime member) - Netflix totally not worth it. (We do pay the $19.99 since it's on a bunch of devices in our house).

Anyway - it's not a 1 way door - we can always go back.

Why in the world are you a prime member?

Yeah I was just discussing this with DH last night. They increased the price but they don't even have the rights to good movies anymore, so what exactly am I even paying for? We have to hunt for movies and shows we want to watch, and they don't even catalogue their stuff properly so a lot gets missed. Thanks for this thread. Will probably watch a few things and cancel as well.

+1

Watched a bunch of lousy B grade movies on Netflix tonight and this is what we're feeling as well.

This one is so corny. She accidentally lands in North Korea and walks around like a clueless Barbie doll, and at one point she couldn't even figure out that she had walked right into a starving communist village. I can't stand romances with Wide-Eyed Naive Barbie and Glowering Stern Ken.

We pay $9.99 a month. Although I don’t watch it much, my kid does. For the price of about 2 gallons of gas, it’s worth keeping Netflix for now.
