Snacks after dinner

Why have any options for a bedtime snack if your children eat healthful balanced dinners? Maybe if I had to feed my kids at 4:30 or something but we have dinner at 5:30 and they’re bathed, read to and in bed by 7:30. They get the option of a banana and milk only if they’re hungry. Stops the stalling and the kitchen is closed.

Some kids are eaters. My 6yo twins were home from school yesterday and ate (each):
Breakfast: 2 eggs, handful of strawberries, 1/2 a sweet potato, bowl of wheat chex and big with 2 refills
Morning snack (crackers)
Lunch: 1/4 a large pepperoni pizza, plus some berries
Pm snack: handful of berries
Dinner: 1 cup cod chowder, 2 English Muffins with butter, 2 sliced apples and a yogurt smoothie popsicle for dessert

slice of toast with butter or pb. make the options healthy. if it's healthy stuff and not goldfish, the kid is hungry and not stalling.

If she's hungry after dinner, she's allowed a snack of a fruit or vegetable and a small glass of milk before bed. Lately she's crying every night that she's hungry but won't eat fruit/veggies. I just ignore her, right?

No! She is hungry so give him some food. Who wants a vegetable for a. R
bedtime snack?! Why can't you give her some apple slices with peanut butter. It is cruel and mean to give her broccoli!
