fully agree. |
USA doesn’t include post grade schools in their rankings. |
| Who has SJC ever beat??? How are they #1 only 10 deep team. |
Given the nature of High School Lacrosse and people graduating and all of that - these are new teams, with a new season, and no one has beat anyone yet. Last year's results are as moot as me telling Jesse's Girl that I love her. I guess we'll find out in the next hour or so... |
| It's Jessie's Girl, unless you are referring to Uncle Jesse from Dukes of Hazzard. |
Moot: having little or no practical relevance - Just like the “i” in the song name - doesn’t matter or change the meaning or understanding. And Uncle Jesse from full house also spells his name this way (moot) Also who has SJC beat? Prep |
| Just being accurate since you muddied the reference. |
| Player rankings are clearly a joke. 5 stars? Sure |

Landon 8
St. Paul's 11 And Landon is ranked #20 nationally. Rankings are a joke. |
Preseason rankings have always been for what they are - preseason. They really are meaningless and in particular too much of an emphasis is based on the previous season. Landon is far from a top 25 team this year. Prep is in the same boat. The best team from the IAC this spring is most likely Bullis and they are hardly getting any love on the National stage. |
| dc dogs were always thought to be better than they are talent wise. A really old team playing together for a long time. The other kids in the area have finally caught up in maturity. If 1 game could be an indication, gp will have a tough year. |
I agree with your assessment that other kids from the area have finally caught in physical maturity with the DC Dogs hence their perceived talent gap will most likely start to narrow. I think its way too early to judge GP in how their season will play out this spring. The SJC loss while disappointing might be the spark the Hoyas needs to come together. I fully expect GP to take care of business this week starting today against St Mary's and Gilman later this week. |
| Good luck |
