Kanye vs White Female Artists

Anonymous
Kanye West has also publicly attacked Jay-Z and (currently) Kid Cudi. Do you think this means he has something particularly against black American male artists?

He also recently attacked Corey Gamble- do you think this means he has something against African American men generally?

Kanye has publicly attacked Drake. Do you think this means he has something specifically against Jewish-Canadian artists, or mixed-race males?

Kanye has publicly insulted Harriet Tubman. Do you think this means he has something specifically against black women?

Kanye has publicly insulted Amber Rose. Do you think this means he has something specifically against mixed-race women?

Kanye West has publicly attacked all sorts of people. He’s a troubled, erratic man. But you only seem to notice or find offense when he has insulted white women. Interesting.

+1. Come on, hate him or love him, it is well known that kanye has bipolar and doesn’t medicate. He may also just be a huge jerk aside from the mental illness. In either case, his erratic and offensive behavior is not reserved for white women alone.

Kanye really doesn't like Tracy Romulus. She's Asian. OP, you think Kanye is specifically against Asian women?

Kanye targeted Perez Hilton today- do you figure this means he specifically dislikes Cuban Americans, or maybe Hispanics more broadly?

And Kanye's going after Lorne Michaels now, too- that's at least two Jewish men including Drake!

Or, despite all of the above, do you only see him as specifically disliking white female artists?

If you care enough to post this, you should at least make the effort to do enough research to understand that Kanye’s issues go way beyond the two white female artists that just happen to be the ones that you personally know about.

If he has such issues he should have someone in his entourage that tells him to shut up every now and then. Everyone has issues - they dont have the soapbox he has. He is a loser and so are you.

Britney Spears has issues and everyone yelled that she should be able to do what she wants. People told her to shut up and everyone yelled it wasn’t fair. Now she’s on IG trying looking foolish and like she needs mental help.

I mean…this simply is not true. But Even at her lowest she didn’t attack nearly as many random people as Kanye has. He’s just a really mean and toxic person.

She would not be able to anyway. Only men can attack and have it excused.

Read the Britney thread. Excuses after excuses. She’s attacked her 12 yr old sister.

Her sister isn't 12.

Thank you for making this point. I thought my head was going to explode!

He's bipolar. He is often off balance.

He needs to stay on his meds and retire from media posts. Maybe, hopefully someone will ban him.

Be careful now. That is a really slippery slope. We've all gotten so comfortable with the idea of banning those we disagree with, you can't do that. Instead take matters into your own hands and stop listening to his words. Don't listen to his music. Stop caring.
+1 I would not support any type of banning.

DP. I'm a huge Britney fan, and no her sister isn't 12 now, she has now said some really despicable things about her sister when her sister was ~10-12.

This. Has anyone heard his verse in the new song City of Gods?

And if I let 'em have my wife, ni***s should thank me

Took me a minute to get here, my vision is crystal clear

I been through the pain and all of the torment
I'm sayin' His name, I make that important (What?)
Now it's time to give 'em hell
Ask my staff, I pay 'em well
This afternoon, a hundred goons pullin' up to SNL (What?)
When I pull up, it's dead on arrival
They act like they love you, they don't even like you
They throw a party, won't even invite you
I seen the same thing happen to Michael
When you black and you rich, they sayin' you psycho (What?)
It's like a cycle

He thinks society thinks he's crazy because he's black & rich. Society thinks he's crazy because when he's off his meds, he's crazy.

But it's also true. Why should she apologize?

I hate when people rationalize rude behavior by saying “I’m speaking my mind.”
NO. You don’t get to shit over everyone in the same of “being honest.”

Basically he hates everyone who isn’t him. 😆

I remember when Barack Obama called him a jackass after the TS moment and he was criticized by the AA community for saying so, even though it was an unscripted and off-the-cuff remark. It was very tame and Kanye has completely fulfilled it and more.

It’s not just white women. You think it’s just white women because the white women are the only ones you care about.

He also attacked Amber Rose, Alexis Pfifer, Azaelia Banks, and a bunch of other black women. He attacked this young black girl when she corrected him in the middle of one of his public rants: https://theblast.com/c/kanye-west-yells-at-black-woman-campaign-rally-sister-solider-rant-kim-kardashian/amp/

Why do these black women he attacked not register to you as important?

The African American community is hardly monolithic. Some INDIVIDUALS criticized Obama, some criticized Kanye. Many thought it wasn’t a big deal. Perhaps your over- generalization was not intentional.

You are correct it was not. I just remember there was a time period where it was faux-pas to criticize his extremely egotistically and troubling behavior because he's considered to be a creative and musical genius and a "asset" to the AA community (even when he's distanced himself from the AA community).
