As a Rose hulman grad, it’s great. Lots of opportunities

Not a good college even by NJ standards.

Also for women, Union College recently had a grant that provides tuition support beyond financial and merit aid - https://www.union.edu/news/stories/202101/gift-will-support-new-scholarships-women-engineering-computer-science

You want tech?
You want Rose-Hulman. Next question.

OP here,

My kid loved Rose-Hulman. I think there's a very good chance he'll end up choosing it. But I want him to have a few more options, because R-H is not a safety.

Caltech has a 3/2 program with approximately 10-15 liberal arts colleges in the country. Columbia has its own program with liberal arts colleges, as does Dartmouth. None is guaranteed, but imagine a hybrid of a small liberal arts college with a world-class research university.

I thought they only did a hybrid program where the student goes to another school for the engineering part.

I thought Wellesley has a hybrid program with MIT.
