Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

Maiden name? If not yours mo., grandmother? Any favorite family members you want to honor?

I don't think Jane is plain. Better than Louise.

+1 Personally, I like family connections in the middle name. But I also like Tessa Jane.

Teresa is a great name! Why not use that and Tessa as the nickname?

All your middle name options are fairly short and would work better with a longer first name. Teresa Jane is my favorite.

Teresa is an old person name.

My middle name is Jane and my mom’s is Louise. Personally I think they’re both just kind of dumb filler names. I like the idea of something a bit bigger and more splashy as a middle name particularly with something simple and 2-syllable like Tessa.

+1 don’t give her a nickname for her actual name

I was going to say Mae too, but I think it's because of the salad dressing. Any family names - first or last - that would sound good with Tessa?

Tessa Jane is a really beautiful name. And I don’t think it sounds like a nickname at all. However you’re right OP, it would be kind of like naming your kid Tonya Harding Lastname if you lived in Canada. But I don’t think it’s a big deal here.

Jane was the first thing that popped into my head!

Also love the suggestion of Madeline. Also love the suggestion of a family name.
