Correct, it wasn't. The thread is for single women only.

I owned two Jeep’s and a Toyota. The Toyota was less or same reliable.

I got to 40,000 miles on Wrangler without a single repair, 5 years old with original tires, brakes and battery. It was stolen.

My other one was a Jeep CJ7. Only issue I had a bit of fluid leak in tranny and gas gauge broke. I fixed neither. But it was 13 years old. Sold it like that. It ran fine. Took it in 200 mile trip week before. But

My Camry I had 9 years. 45,000 miles. Motor mount broke, door handle cracked off. Minor things. But not any better.

Toyota is great but it is not a big difference just buy what you like

I drive a 23 year old Toyota RAV4 that is still going strong and barely a hint of rust on her. We’ve been together for 17 years it’s been 12 years since I had a payment and the maintenance and routine replacement of wear-limited parts has been much cheaper than having car payments and higher insurance premiums. Granted it’s been years since I thought of vehicles as a status symbol of any kind so I don’t care that the clearcoat on the paint has started peeling or that she has dings here and there or faded upholstery.

If you really want reliability, go with the Toyota. Mine is the best car I’ve had in my lifetime. Sometime in the next few years I’ll have to let her go but we’ve been together for so many miles I might cry when that happens.

I’m nearly 52, single never married. All of my dogs over the years have ridden in the RAV, so that’s another reason I’ll miss her when she goes.
