The cultural and racial lens under which we process and understand atrocities

I thought that this phenomenon was interesting. How we process our understanding of events by cultural and racial preconceptions.

Bullshit!

This is the white america-centric view of the world.

I thought the Lululemon girl was disturbed. I thought the DC sniper was disturbed. I'm not sure what your point is--by and large terrorism is using violence and fear for power/policical purpose. Tim McVeigh was a terrorist. ISIS are terrorists. They may be crazy, but they are also terrorists. That poster is silly.

There will always be those white people who will deny racism exists. I'm not surprised.

That meme speaks the truth.

According to fbi stats, islamic extremists committed about 6% of terrorist acts in the US

But if you search terrorist on google images, you only see images of muslim terrorists

Same thing if you search for terrorism in the US.

'The cultural and racial lens under which we process and understand atrocities'

Boring racist drivel already...

Why do liberals perpetually need to categorize, need to Balkanize?

We are all Americans; demographic sectarianism only serves to tear us apart and I think that is what liberals really want.

My cousin's husband died 44 days ago. His identity has already been stolen and their tax refund gone with it

So racism doesn't exist.

It is a figment of liberal imagination.

That's so insightful, OP. I never understood before now why so many white people called Tim McVeigh something other than a terrorist.

Google image search turns up that pie chart on various conservative blogs, but interestingly none of them actually link to an authoritative FBI data source.

Sure racism exists... there is some everywhere I'm sure but SO WAHT? Likely in the USA you'll find the least amount of it except in the minds of liberals where it occupies 90% of their conscious thought.

Keep telling yourself it's better here than anyone else. Just stick with the truth- racism exists and you don't care. At least that's genuine.
