Outlet Covers Matching the Paint Color

I am remodeling and would like the outlet covers to match the cabinets and walls. Would I paint them myself? Would the cabinet makers offer them? How do people accomplish this in a nice way?

You take the metal covers. Sand lightly and paint.
On dark colored walls they look nice.

On white and cream I find that fresh white metal covers look better. Get new outlets and switches too.
Electrical items that have been painted look bad.

Changed everything in my house to decora.

Same with door hinges. Slowly replacing everyone in my home. Hate that they are all painted up.

Cabinet makers will paint them to match your cabinets. Just put it in your order.
