Bravelle and multiples

Anonymous
Hi all, I've had 2 IUIs (w/clomid and trigger shot) with no luck. My issue is ovulatory and hubby has low morphology, we're 38. My dr now wants to put me on Bravelle. My AMH and hormone levels are normal, does anyone have any insight into why Bravely (which I believe is synthetic FSH) would help? And does it increase the risk of multiples? I am really scared of having multiples (no offense to anyone who has multiples, I just don't know if I could handle it. No family in the area, not a lot of experience with babies, etc). Thanks!

Clomid didn't work for us bc it thins uterine lining. Injectibles are less likely to have that side effect, thus are more effective. I was producing two eggs/cycle on clomid and 3 with FSH. I never worried about multiples and it's just as well bc it never worked for us.

If you are that concerned take a few months off to think abt it and give your body a break.
