I am hearing of budget cuts in maryland and VA. Has maxwell stated what he will cut yet in pgcps?

He was supposed to have a public meeting yesterday to talk about it. I'm guessing it got cancelled. You could probably call and see if it has been rescheduled.
"Dear Friend of PGCPS:

As you know, we are facing a critical time at both the state and local levels when it comes to education funding. Potential looming cuts to our budget could have a great impact on the services we provide to our students and families and could hurt the great progress we are making.

I’d like to invite you to a special discussion about education funding on February 17, 2015, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Kenmoor Middle School, 2500 Kenmoor Drive, Landover, MD 20785. In this session I will share with you our current budget status, what the potential impacts of cuts to education funding would be and strategize ways we can work together to send a message that we must adequately fund our public schools.

Now is the time for us to all raise our voices on this vital issue. As someone who has already done so much to advance PGCPS, I hope you will join me on February 17, 2015, for this very important discussion.

I think you can just show up. Unfortunately most meetings like this don't have particularly good attendance so I don't think that over capacity is a problem.

Is the meeting on Thursday still at kenmoor still happening? Maybe not I just heard snow! Anyone heard of any programs that are slated to be affected due to budgets at your schools?
