Where do you live? Curiosity Zone in Ashburn and Ideainventions in Oakton offer camps and are both fun and well run.

sorry - I just noticed that your son is 14. I think Curiosity Zone and Ideainventions are for younger kids.

I just signed my rising 8th grade daughter up for some cool STEM workhops at Sidwell - perhaps those would be of interest...
