How do MC schools deal with mild learning disability issues?

Anonymous
My son has been flagged as having LD issues. We live in the District and as we all know the school services here are terrible. I cannot imagine how my son could cope in a mainstream classroom in D.C..

I'm looking for insight into how children with LD issues fare in Bethesda (wood acres, westbrook, somerset, ch chase elem). My husband and I greatly enjoy living in the city and dread living in the suburbs, but we would move to close-in zip codes (if we could find something affordable) if the schools provided enough services and solid education. TIA.
