Language Requirements in HS after MS Testing-In?

| My DS took a language at a DCPS middle school for 3 years and tested into year 2 of the language in high school. ( We don't speak this language, so it was not a native speaker situation.) Does anyone know whether he has to take a second year of language on the high school level or is he done after this year? Appreciate hearing from others who might have had the same situation. TIA. |

| did he et a high school credit for it? Look at his transcript if unsure. Most selective colleges want to see at least level 4 of the language. |

| I would only do this if you are using the time to take really advanced math, otherwise I would continue the language or even start a second, challenging language. |
