TTC when using fertility monitor- when is the best time??

Anonymous
I am using the Clearblue Easy monitor to track my peak days, and have a question. When is the absolute best time for TTC? If you use this, you know that you could have anywhere between 1-4 "high" days right before the "peak" hits. My husband has low counts, so doing it every day isn't advisable. On the morning where the monitor states "peak", is doing it that night the best? The reason I ask is that how can you know when the surge started? If it started the day before at 12noon and you just tested, by the time you get to that night it could be too late (given the egg lasts 12 hours). I've tried getting home for a nooner, but that isn't always possible with work schedules.

If you used this monitor, what day TTC worked for you?

We used it for a few months. The month I conceived was when we didn't try until I hit my peak day (it was the 4th of July so we were home and just put on a video for the preschooler). Good luck!

I always did it on my peak day, and conceived after 5 months of trying.
