Have you received your Costco/Amex annual reward yet?

I received an email a while ago that my statement with my annual check would be coming soon, but I haven't received it yet. I don't know if it was lost in the mail or not. I seem to remember that it didn't come til the end of February -- did anyone receive theirs yet?

Our statement ends on the 11th, so we don't usually get our bill until closer to the end of the month. It comes with the statement, so don't worry about it getting lost. You will get your monthly bill!

Also, $16?? I am jealous. We are getting $400+! That means we have spent an astronomical amount at Costco.

Ha! I guess that's one way of looking at it. We actually didn't spend much there this year because we moved and the nearest Costco is about 45 minutes away now. We probably should cancel our membership.

The card pays for the membership if you use it for other things. We are also looking at a big check but not because we shop a ton at Costco.

What do you use it for - tickets, vacations, etc.?

Well, it's 3% back on gas and 2% back on travel & restaurants, so that's what we use it for. Costco, gas, and restaurants. I still can't believe we spent so much on these three categories.

I got ya. Well we have the Fidelity AmEx, too that we use (2% back for everything) and we've gotten $550 back this year, so I guess we're not much better at spending. It just wasn't with the Costco card. And note this doesn't include gasoline purchase as we use a PenFed Visa card (5% back) for that.
