What to wear at resort in California in February?

| At the end of February, we are going to a resort in California that's on the ocean between LA and San Diego. I've been to California some, but I'm not sure what to expect at this time of year. It's for my husband's company so I will need some dressy and casual things. Is there a "winter wardrobe" for California or is it just typical summery type clothes? |

Ooooo - which town/resort? I know that coast quite well. used to live there and go back quite often.
February is one of the best month's in that area. Least amount of marine layer rolling in. Very sunny, mid 70s. They are in a warm spell right now - low 80s. |

| Live in SD. You'll be fine with a mid to late spring wardrobe, but make sure you bring a cardigan for the early mornings and nights. Have fun! |
