Woods Academy?

Good or bad experiences? Do they build confidence? Also do they offer a second child discounted tuition? Do they know how to teach boys?

Has been a wonderful school for my son. They definitely understand boys---I think, in large part, because both the Head and Assistant Head are men. Also, a noteworthy number of male teachers at the school which is impressive for an elementary school. Can't speak to 2nd child discount since we only have one. A gem of a school! Strong guidance counseling and advisory program to help instill confidence---and a culture of kindness.

And for girls, who usually depend their days in catholic school hearing about their millions of flaws? I know. I used to teach in catholic schools!

I live next door to the school but my kids go to Pyle, its a Catholic school and seeing those figures of Mary in the halls disturbed me.
I hope they loose their lease and it goes back to being Fernwood Public School as the student population around here grows.

We were there for preschool and found the community to be very nice. Also more diverse than most Bethesda schools (ethnically, not religiously).
