Soccer
For the trapped kids, maybe it's a "debacle." But the truth is, the switch would be seen as negative for 3/4s of kids (and their parents) who now how have to play against older kids. That's not to say the current system is better, but it is a reality that is likely hard to go against. |
Sorry. 2/3s. |
| There would be more than one club breaking news by now. |
|
Damn this must feel like a punch to the “ECNL can do nothing wrong” folks.
See what happens when you open your mouth too early |
Why would they? ECNL should be embarrassed. |
| We would move to ECNL if they were the only league going to school year. Trapped players will benefit greatly as their core college recruitment year of junior year is stuck playing with seniors who dont care. |
You obviously don't understand how governing bodies work. ECNL can't do whatever it wants despite the nonsense on this thread. The fact that they haven't done anything should be proof of that. ECNL and all other leagues will follow whatever US Soccer decides. No league will make the change until then. |
| Feels like the Michigan post has to be fake by now. But why? |
| Where’d all the school year crazies go |
| So close to 300 |
| Wow! This feels like Christmas. All you folks that touted ECNL IS GOING SCHOOL YEAR NO MATTER WHAT look like some bafoons |
Yes we do! At least for another year. |
It’s not. It’s posted on their site too. No changes and probably not for a couple years. |
| In all seriousness, this does make THAT league look weak. No announcement. Said they would stand behind their shift to SY. This is all bad. Parents should be enfuriated. |
I have no idea what's going to happen, but this is so premature to say you've clearly lost your mind. |
