Have you heard from any Arlington preschools yet?

Kinhaven, Westover Baptist, Mt. Olivet, Walker Chapel, Rock Spring, etc? I haven't heard anything. It's early for some but I'm impatient!

I heard that Columbia Baptist has sent out some notices starting last week.

I heard back from Fairlington Preschool and Falls Church Episcopal Day School. I know they are not Arlington, but they are close. We got in to both, although Fairlington we got into the 2s class that starts January 2016. Still waiting on Mt. Olivet...

Most of the places I toured said mid-March for admissions decisions to be made.

We did hear from CCCC that we are 20-something on the waitlist with 6 spots available. Guess we'll be sticking with our nanny!

Do you know how long the waitlist is for the 2 year old class? Thanks.

I don't, sorry. We got in but may not take the slot if we hear from Early Years (more appealing only because it's closer to our house--Walker Chapel is a wonderful, gentle little school).

was CCCC the only place that you applied? I'm curious what makes you view it as superior to all other full day preschools- to the point where you would rather not send your child to preschool (ie sticking with the nanny) rather than sending to a different preschool.

That's the only full time program we applied to--since we're clearly not getting in, DS will go to a part time program. We have friends that are happy at CCCC, that's the main reason we applied there. I'm sure the other full time schools are great too, I just wasn't jazzed enough about them to apply without knowing happy families personally.
