Soccer
| This really would be worst possible outcome for everyone. No change, but we'll revisit next year to trigger more drama, and again the next year, and the next year, ... If they stay BY they need to say so forcefully and amend their reasoning from the last time, so this isn't an annual discussion. |

ECNL can do what it wants. IT MAKES ZERO SENSE TO CONTIUE THE TRAPPED PLAYER DEBACLE.
The silence from ECNL IS Deafining... |
Shhh... Don't tell the Crazy ECNL parents. |
Probelm is there is no sound reasoning to contiue. The cat is out of the bag! |
| ECNL will not change anything until US soccer approves. They will not go in alone. There is no benefit to do so. If US soccer does approve for Fall 26 then there is a chance. |
For the trapped kids, maybe it's a "debacle." But the truth is, the switch would be seen as negative for 3/4s of kids (and their parents) who now how have to play against older kids. That's not to say the current system is better, but it is a reality that is likely hard to go against. |
Sorry. 2/3s. |
| There would be more than one club breaking news by now. |
|
Damn this must feel like a punch to the “ECNL can do nothing wrong” folks.
See what happens when you open your mouth too early |
Why would they? ECNL should be embarrassed. |
| We would move to ECNL if they were the only league going to school year. Trapped players will benefit greatly as their core college recruitment year of junior year is stuck playing with seniors who dont care. |
You obviously don't understand how governing bodies work. ECNL can't do whatever it wants despite the nonsense on this thread. The fact that they haven't done anything should be proof of that. ECNL and all other leagues will follow whatever US Soccer decides. No league will make the change until then. |
| Feels like the Michigan post has to be fake by now. But why? |
| Where’d all the school year crazies go |
| So close to 300 |
